Workshops
As an artist its a great joy to share creativity. Ace Designs workshops have included sharing painting days with other artists, life drawing tuition and group projects such as murals. Family and children's workshops are held regularly at the Charlton Arts Centre, above the Charlton Shopping Centre in Dover's High Street - please see our calendar and listings below.
We are experienced in providing arts and crafts workshops for schools and youth groups with previous events including food group and nature themed crafts for White Cliffs Countryside Partnership, treasure hunts and make-and-take sessions for Sure Start and summer workshops such as making and playing recycled drums for Vista Leisure.
Workshops are designed and led by Anita Luckett, but may require additional staff dependent on the age of the participants and the nature of the activities. We are able to bring our own sessional staff when needed, or work with existing team members to create a very special event.

Face Painting
Designer Anita Luckett began face painting as a one-off favor to a charity, but that look of amasement when a child sees their face reflected in the mirror as Superman, a tiger, or a beautiful butterfly is quite addictive - so years later she’s still painting faces! Face painting can be booked by the hour for events or parties. For large public events we suggest that paying the hosting organisation a commission on income is the fairest method all round. When Anita is not available our networking with other painters means that with reasonable notice we can usually cover your event. However, please do not leave weekend and Bank Holiday bookings until the last minute as we hate to disappoint!
